FREE Mature Drivers Roadshow

Northamptonshire Mature Drivers Roadshow heads to Daventry

Are you a mature driver (aged 60+)? Live in Northamptonshire? Rely on being able to drive? This FREE roadshow is for you!

Driving is an important part of our everyday life and at the Northamptonshire Safer Roads Alliance (NSRA) we are keen to help to keep mature drivers driving safer for longer.

Our driving ability to drive changes over time for different reasons, especially as we get older. It’s important that we recognise whether and how our driving is changing so we can stay safe and protect both ourselves and those around us.

This Mature Drivers Roadshow takes place on November 7, at The Icon Innovation Centre in Daventry, and there are two sessions to choose from – 9.30am and 1pm.

It is aimed at drivers 60+ and will cover all different aspects of driving. There will be a short talk and then plenty of time to meet informally with our many stand holders.

Advice will be available on car adaptions, eyesight, how your prescription medications may affect you, and much more including the opportunity to book a FREE IAM RoadSmart Mature Driver Assessments for a later date.

The event is being held on Tuesday 7 November at the Icon Innovation Centre, Eastern Way, Daventry NN11 0QB (what3words.com/reduce.stealthier.handbags) with two sessions, 9.30am and 1pm.

Kier are requiring to carry out traffic calming works just to the north of Crick sports ground and also post and rail repairs near High Street, Yelvertoft.

To undertake both sets of works will require road closures, the first for the traffic calming is expected to commence on the 27th November until the 12th December 2023.  The closure and diversion route can be viewed here https://one.network/?tm=135999465 and if you require more information please contact Marc Nightingale on 01604 529700.
