Update on development – 8th September 2023

9 x New Build Development

Land adjacent to Strawfield House, Hillmorton Lane, Yelvertoft

Previous and Planned Works

Completed works:

  • Plot 7 roof and solar panels on
  • Plot 7 internals started
  • Plot 8 trusses on
  • Plot 8 garaged roofed in
  • Plot 6 brickwork started
  • Drainage completed along whole road
  • Road being stoned up
  • Services (water and electricity) completed for plots 6-9.

Next 4 weeks work include:

  • Plot 8 trusses on and tile roof
  • Plot 8 and garage internals
  • Plot 6 brickwork taken up
  • Plot 7 to be plastered

  • Brick delivery week commencing Monday 3rd July 2023
  • 1st lift scaffolding on plots 7 & 8
  • Continue taking up plots 7 & 8
  • BT works outside the entrance to the site
  • Complete foul drainage dig
  • Dig foundations and concrete plots 6 & 9

Next 4 weeks work include:

  • Continue taking plot 8 up to second scaffold lift
  • Continue taking plot 7 up to roof level and gable scaffold lift
  • Commence work on foundational brickwork on plots 7 & 9
  • Sort drainage and services out for plots 6 & 9
  • Delivery of floor beams for plots 6 & 9
  • Floors to go on for plots 6 & 9
  • Electric connections
  • Commence roadworks

Road Closures – September 2023

What: Road Closure- to renew ironworks and installation of road marking.
Following recent surfacing works here, we are now carrying out further work. This includes renewing the ironworks such as; gullies, manholes, service chambers, etc.
Where: Ashwells Lane, Yelvertoft
When: Monday 11th September 2023
How long: 1 Day
Working Hours: 08:00 -16:00 (Road accessible outside these hours)

What: Road Closure- to renew ironworks and installation of road marking.

Where: Brookside Close, Yelvertoft
When: Thursday 7th September 2023
How long: 1 Day
Working Hours: 08:00 -16:00 (Road accessible outside these hours)

What: Road Closure- to renew ironworks and installation of road marking.

Where: Oak Lane, Crick
When: Tuesday 12th September 2023
How long: 1 Day
Working Hours: 08:00 -16:00 (Road accessible outside these hours)

Emergency Vehicles: If you need assistance for emergency vehicle access you can contact our traffic management team during working hours.

Pedestrians and Cyclists: Pedestrian access to properties. Cyclists will be asked to dismount and use the footway.

Residents/Businesses: Please be assured that we aim to maintain access for residents and businesses. During working hours, vehicle access will be restricted. However, we will have personnel on-site to assist where required. Please allow extra time for your journeys and consult with the Site Manager on the contact details displayed on signs if you require assistance.

During our works, please ensure that your vehicles are not parked on the highway, as the operations will require full access at all times to the road. ‘No Parking’ signs will be put in place 48 hours before the works begins throughout the site to inform residents of the times when vehicles should be removed.
