Why are we doing this work?

Severn Trent Water are investing in the Yelvertoft Sewerage Treatment Works. This work involves installation of new process equipment to improve the treatment capacity of the works. These upgrades will help improve the quality of the receiving watercourse, whilst continuing our high standard of waste water treatment into the future.

When is the work taking place?

The scheme is planned to commence in the Summer of 2018 and we plan to complete the work by the end of 2018.

Why is the work taking place?

We plan to carry out work in a way that is designed to have the least impact on you, your daily routine and your local environment. If you have any issues about the work before, during or afterwards please do not hesitate to contact us with the details provided at the end of this letter.

Please be aware of the following:

  • There are no expected road closures
  • There is no planned night or weekend work
  • You will notice more activity on site than normal
  • A slight increase in local traffic is to be expected due to labour and delivery vehicles
  • Main groundworks planned to coincide with School holidays to minimise impact of traffic along School Lane.
