Does the thought of using a computer, the internet feel daunting or even scary?
WEA is launching a FREE digital skills course to help develop computer skills in an easy to manage way.
This is for absolute beginners (Entry Level 3) which requires 48 hours. The course is centred around being able to use digital devices safely, being responsible online, including handling personal information and making purchases online. Students will learn to create, edit and store documents, to use digital methods of communication, such as sending an email or making a Zoom call. This is a qualification course, with an element of independent study; students will need to be committed to attending and submitting work in timescales required. On completion qualifying Students will be awarded with a recognised qualification.
START DATE: 24th January 2022
TIME: 10am – 12pm
Every MONDAY until 25th July 2022
With breaks for Bank Holidays inc. two weeks for Easter.
Students are required to complete the full duration of the Course. There are up to 14 spaces
available (with social distancing), on a first come first served basis.
Optional social activities may be available after each weekly.
