PCC Consults on Council Tax

Northamptonshire’s Police & Crime Commissioner, Stephen Mold, has asked us to contact parish and town councils as he would like to understand their views on the policing part of the council tax.  In addition, Mr Mold will soon become the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire and will have responsibility for setting the Fire & Rescue Service element of the council tax too.  Your feedback will help inform the level of council tax set for Northamptonshire.  The Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC) is running a consultation on the options and to gather views relating to Council Tax and Policing and Fire & Rescue Services.  The survey is available at http://www.northantsp.cc/northantscounciltax and the deadline for responses is Friday 7 December 2018.
